Create your own faceted gemstone piece

In person 1:1 or pairs classes with Jed at her studio in the Northern Rivers NSW

Jed will guide you through the art of lost wax jewellery method over the span of 4 classes. You will design your choice of earrings, pendant or ring and learn how to set a faceted gemstone within it.

This is an advanced class, experience is necessary. I recommend taking either my beginners or intermediate classes to get you in the zone for this class if you do not have previous setting or wax/silversmithing experience

You will walk away with new skills, confidence in using tools and your very own sterling silver piece of jewellery, designed and crated by you!

Class 1 - Designing your piece in wax
2 hours

Class 2 - Finishing in wax
2 hours

Class 3 - Stone setting
2 hours

Class 4 - Finishing and polishing in metal
2.5 hours

You have the option of completing your classes in:
A) 4 x 2 hour classes over the span of 4 weeks
B) 2 x 4 hour classes over two weeks, or a weekend.

Available class times are:
Monday 4 - 6:30
Tuesday 5 - 7:30
Wednesday 4 - 6:30
Friday 4 - 6:30
Some weekends are available, please let me know if this would work better for you and we can see what is available.

Fee covers all wax materials, tools, casting, gemstone and one finished piece in sterling silver
Please note: If you wish to have multiple pieces cast at the end of the class, you can simply cover the cost of any additional casting and material.
